Summer is finally here!
And we’re ready for it with a new menu and plenty of events all summer long. The first week of June is packed with food and wine events, starting with The Dinner Party on 6.01 with Elysabeth Alfano featuring Joe Mantegna. This months theme features a “Sideways” film theme. That same day, vino lovers will rejoice at our Michigan Wines event, featuring over 15 wineries from around the state!
Then on 6.03, all the wine lovers can rejoice once again when we host the Paso Robles grand tasting. This tasting will give you the chance to taste over 100 wines from over 20 wineries. And later this month on 6.14, don’t miss a music and wine pairing event with The Rack and the Riddler! Sip Palm Bay wines specially selected by our wine director and Certified Sommelier Rachel Driver Speckan and Master Sommelier (and bassist of The Rack and the Riddler!) Serafin Alvarado while listening to 90s rock.
June is also filled with many different tasting and pairing events, so be sure to check out our events calendar.
There’s plenty coming up on the music side of things as well!
Our show with Red Baraat on 6.7 is going to be a great start to the month. This dhol and brass ensemble from New York is always show stopping, and reflects their founder Sunny Jain’s traditional Indian roots. This is one experience you don’t want to miss.
Later in the week, couple Lucy Kaplansky & Richard Shindell bring their latest endeavor The Pine Hill Project on 6.12. The Americana pair have been together for over 30 years, and they’re finally made a full length album for us to enjoy. On 6.14 Hackensaw Boys will be at City Winery to share their unique Americana style. This energetic group lets everyone have a chance to lead on a song, as well as sit back and play.
On 6.19, Wanda Jackson will grace the stage of City Winery. This legendary singer has been in the business for decades, and has worked with artists from Elvis Presley to Jack White. This Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductee is not someone you’ll want to miss.
6.20 is packed with not one, but two great opportunities for shows. Martha Davis and The Motels will be here at 7pm for a show that will showcase this bands decade spanning work. The group that started touring together in the 70’s has recently began touring again, more than they have been since the 80’s in fact! And, later that night, make sure you stop by for the official after party of Taste of Randolph at 10pm, featuring Little Hurricane & Spirit Family Reunion.
