City Winery’s own Michael Dorf will be honored at an upcoming benefit concert alongside Elvis Costello and Bonnie Raitt. Dorf will be honored for his work producing the charitable “Music Of” concert series that supports the music education program Little Kids Rock. The benefit concert, which is also raising funds for Little Kids Rock, will feature performers such as Mike Myers, Darlene Love, Bettye Lavette, Keb’ Mo’, Paul Shaffer, Bernie Williams and more. The event will take place at NYC’s PlayStation Theater on October 18th.
Will Lee, formerly of Paul Shaffer’s Late Show band, is the musical director for this event and lots more performers are still to be announced. Reserve your seat (starting at $1000, which comes with cocktails and three-course dinner), though you can also request a show-only ticket (which is a lower price).
City Winery is excited to announce the launch of a new wine label inspired by, you could say, President Trump.
Covfefe wine is a reference to the infamous (since-deleted) tweet from the president and is the first political statement we have made on a wine bottle.
“This vino is HUUUUUUGE” and “definitely not fake wine,” as the label reads. Oh, and it pairs well with “white bread, a ton of baloney, and Russian dressing.” The wine itself is a red blend of cabernet and merlot grapes from the Northern California coast and was barrel-aged right here in our winery.
For every bottle sold, we will donate 20 percent to the ACLU!

Covfefe wine label designed by Sarah Tollin.
You can pick up a bottle of Covfefe from our wine shop at 155 Varick Street, online, or you can order by the bottle at our Pier 26 spot, City Vineyard (233 West St).
Starting today and running through September, all City Winery locations are contributing 50% of the proceeds from every order of risotto balls to benefit All Hands Volunteers.
