Shut Down? Drink Up! | City Winery Nashville

shutdown

We feel bad for the hundreds of thousands of government employees affected days before Christmas and the holiday break without pay. The White House and Congress can’t work it out over a border wall, and meanwhile, our government’s employees need a drink.  In fact, everyone should be sitting around a table breaking bread and having a drink. Come on by and relax, Music City.

Are you a government employee?

Enjoy $1 glass of City Winery wine on tap in any room in the building.

While supplies last. Limit one per person.

Click here to make a reservation in our Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar.

Note: City Winery Nashville is closed December 24-25, 2018. Happy Holidays!

Government Shuts Down, Drink Up at City Winery!

shutdown

We feel bad for our country and especially for the hundreds of thousands of government employees affected days before Christmas and the holiday break without pay.

The White House and Congress can’t work it out over a border wall, and, meanwhile, our government’s employees need a drink.

In fact, everyone should be sitting around a table breaking bread and having a drink.

Because of this, we’re offering half off glasses of City Winery wine to everyone Sunday, December 23rd through Saturday, December 29th. (Remember, we’re closed the 24th and 25th, so our workers can spend time with family.)

Come on by and relax. We hope to see you!

Second Harvest Wine & Ms. Cheap’s Penny Drive | City Winery Nashville

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Did you know that hunger is a reality for nearly 400,000 Middle Tennesseans? City Winery Nashville is proud to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank for a specialty wine label during December 2018! A single bottle of our “615” Sauvignon Blanc wine is $35 dollars, and 1 single bottle equals 28 meals!

In Middle Tennessee, 1 in 8 people, including 1 in 5 children, are at risk of hunger – meaning that they don’t know when or where they will find their next meal. A single bottle of wine makes a difference this holiday season!

Can’t buy a bottle of wine? We’re also participating in Ms. Cheap’s Penny Drive benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee! Since 2009, Ms. Cheap’s Penny Drive has raised more than $477,000 which has provide almost TWO MILLION meals to hungry Middle Tennesseans. Mary Hance, Ms. Cheap, had one goal in mind when creating the Penny Drive: to raise awareness of local hunger issues and raise money to feed hungry people. As the demand for food assistance continues to increase, Second Harvest must distribute more food than ever and we need your help.

You can make a big difference with the change in your pocket. With every $1 donated to Second Harvest provides 4 meals to our neighbors in need. Please give and give often! Penny Drive cans are available and donations are accepted at Second Harvest, Pinnacle Financial Partners and Wilson Bank & Trust locations… and now, City Winery Nashville! ‘Tis the season, Music City!
